Let’s Face It: Are You Really Trying to Make Money Online?

leave a comment »

Hey everyone, sorry about the problems with my blog. WordPress sorta spazzed out :P

Today I want to touch base on the issue of effort. There’s a certain amount that has to be exerted if you really want to make money online, and let’s face it: 90% of the people “trying to make money online” aren’t exactly “trying.”

You can read all of the testimonials you want. You can even find a golden plan to making money online. However, you’ll never actually earn any if you don’t put forth the effort. By effort, I mean the work. I actually had a huge realization a couple weeks ago. I’ve been working on a huge project that could potentially be worth thousands and thousands of dollars, but I had seen minimal progress. I finally figured out that I was just being lazy.

I love, love, love reading forums. One day I read a post about a guy who wrote 10 articles per day and submitted them like crazy! It made me think, “Geez, I feel burnt out after writing one article. And then I usually rest the next day! HA!” If I were writing 10 articles per day, I could be filthy, stinking, rich.

Now, I’m not saying you have to work that hard, but you should take some time to intervene your regular schedule of online work and truly ask yourself, “Am I doing what I need to do, as much as I should be?” You’ll find out that you’ve been cheating on yourself and you’re literally letting money fall through your fingers.

Get More Free Traffic

leave a comment »

Everyone wants traffic. Everyone needs traffic. It’s a major building block of every website’s success. But how can you get it?

I’ll tell you how NOT to get it! You should never ever buy “targeted traffic” unless you are with AdWords. You see, when you purchase traffic from someone, they redirect visitors from one place to your site. This causes them to be suprised very inexpectedly. Nine times out of ten, they will leave your site without seeing what you have to offer.

On the other hand, if you have traffic from people that had the intention of visiting your website, they’ll be more likey to come back later.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is when you format your site so that search engines can navigate through it very easily. You may notice that sometimes when you get a website template, it says “Search Engine Friendly” or ” Search Engine Optimized”- they are very helpful with getting traffic! Also, you want to do some keyword research so you know what phrases to use often.

For example, instead of using the phrase “tickets that you can buy at Airtran are not extremely expensive” you should write “cheap Airtran airlines tickets” because that is more searched. It’ll show up more often and will get more clicks to your blog!

Forex Trading

leave a comment »

Since I’m just a kid, I can’t trade in the forex system. I know a good deal about it, but as far as real trading goes, I can’t help you. However, I do enjoy trading in my fake virtual account…

If you’re interested in forex, I recommend you sign up for eToro. It has virtual accounts and real accounts so you can practice. Please comment about your forex experiences!

Making Money With Torrents: Part 2

leave a comment »

Alright, so you’ve signed up for LuxeCash and you’ve been approved. You should’ve already downloaded a few applications on uTorrent. They should just be sitting around on your computer already unzipped… On to part 2!

Part 2: Combining files

For this post, I’m going to use the LimeWire Pro application as my torrent. I’ve downloaded it in uTorrent and now I have to add the installer that I got from LuxeCash. You can grab this code by logging in. It’s not too hard to find, so I didn’t bother to make a screenshot…

Next, go to your start menu and click “RUN”. Type in iexpress and hit the return key. Here are the next few steps:

  1. Select “Create new…”
  2. Select “Extract files and run installation…”
  3. Name your application
  4. You can have a prompt show up or not… your choice! :)
  5. Don’t display a liscense
  6. Add the LuxeCash PPI installer first!
  7. Add the application you selected. It should be in .exe format
  8. Follow prompts until complete

Now you should have a working .exe file. Try it for yourself first. When you open it, it should display an installer for something like screen savers or whatnot. Then, the application installer should come up. If this works correctly, you’re going to be making money in no time!

Stick around for part 3! If you have any questions, please post a comment!

Making Money With Torrents: Part 1

with one comment

Although it may not be 100% ethical, people are able to make around $100/day with torrents and file sharing. This blackhat method isn’t used as much as it could be. And even though it can make a lot of money, you should never depend on this to keep steady! I got a lot of request for a tutorial, so here it is!

Part 1:Gather the necessary components

The first thing you need to do in the process of making money with torrents is registering for an PPI (Pay Per Install) affiliate account. I recommend using Luxe Cash because it’s pretty simple and it works for me! I’m pretty sure acceptance is automatic, but if not, allow 24 hours for this.

Next, you should download uTorrent. This will allow you to extract torrent and add the PPI component. You can download uTorrent here.  (Download begins immediately.)

The last step in part 1 is to write down some applications that you will add the PPI component to. I recommend going to Mininova and The Pirate Bay to see the top downloaded applications. Popular applications will help you start making money right away! Go ahead and copy the download link location and paste it into uTorrent. Allow all or most of the file to finish and then stick around for part 2!

Are All PTC Scams?

leave a comment »

If you want a quick answer, here it is: NO.

If you want the long answer, keep reading.

The amount of comments I have recieved on my post about Rolex Mails probably outnumbers the amount of words in that entire post. So many people have signed up for Rolex Mails, Work Mails, Banks Mails… blah blah blah. The list goes on. I must admit, I signed up for these, too, until I realized that a site called “Ostrich Mails” probably won’t pay me $500 for visiting a website for 20 seconds.

Although most PTC sites are scams, the sites that pay around $0.01 per click can be trusted. There are thousands of people that have been paid by them. Sure, these people probably had to work their butts off to get referrals, but they still got paid.

As much as a don’t recommend wasting your time with PTC sites, I can’t say that they’re all scams. Believe it or not, it use to be a very innocent industry!

If you’re looking for a PTC site to join, you can look around on this blog for some past reviews. I recently found a pretty trustworthy site that you may try. As much as I hate the design, I must say the ads are plenty.

Two Blogs Are Better Than One

with one comment

I am always working on new things, so I have decided to cut it down. I absolutely love this blog, and it’s impossible for me to just give it up. That being said, I have launched my new blog “Finance Kids”.

It’s actually kind of funny how these blogs are so related. Invest Kid is about how kids and teens (and adults too!) can make money online. Finance Kids is about marketing to kids and teens online. Funny how that works, eh? :)

Anyway, posting on Invest Kid will continue!

What’s “Purchase Worthy”?

leave a comment »

As you all know, I try not to spend any money as I am making money online. I prefer to keep 100% of my money! Although this is my motto, it’s hard to abide by. Some things are “purchase worthy”, but still- some things aren’t.

In my opinion, domain names and website hosting are worthy of being purchased. I’ve learned the hard way not to use free website hosting. My website was unexpectedly removed and I practically wasted a week’s worth of work. And domains are very hard to get for free. People won’t take you seriously if your domain name is www.aloevera.uni.cc or www.aloevera.notlong.com. As wonderful as these domains may seem, they’re not!

On the other hand, eBooks, affiliate programs, and traffic should never be paid for. 99.9% of the time, you can find a free alternative eBook that is better than the other that costs $24.99. If you have to pay to become an affiliate for a website, don’t even think about it. And besides Adwords, you should never pay for traffic. There are too many other free ways to get traffic that will keep coming back.

There are a few exceptions! Sometimes experts offer training that may be very helpful for you. If you can afford it, go for it! It may pay off. But be sure that this person knows what they’re talking about, or you’ll end up in the wrong direction- and in debt!

Don’t sell, PREsell

leave a comment »

How many times have you gone to a website and you see a long sales copy about an ebook or program that costs way more than it’s worth? I’ve seen too many! These are the websites of affiliate marketers who obviously have no idea how to presell instead of plain old selling.

When you go to the Click Bank marketplace to find a product to promote, it isn’t meant for you to just use the tracking link as your only website. Unless you plan on using Adwords to promote the link (this is another whole story!), you need your very own website or blog to promote your product. If you just use the Click Bank tracking link, you won’t get any sales!

Preselling is getting to know your website visitor and letting them know about what you know. (This may get confusing!) When I see an affiliate site for a product that costs $50, I’m going to be very skeptical. However, if I’m at a really good blog with lots of information about that niche, and the blogger recommends that product, I’m going to have an open mind about that product.

I highly recommend that you read Ken Envoy’s Affiliate Master’s Guide. It will teach you a LOT about preselling. It’s free and very inspirational.
